Shark Week is Discovery Channel’s iconic, week-long television event dedicated to shark-centric programming, running annually since 1988. It’s a popular summer tradition that combines education and entertainment, showcasing a variety of documentary-style shows that dive into the biology, behavior, and conservation of sharks, as well as thrilling adventures and encounters with these incredible creatures. For Warner Bros. Discovery, Erin’s role involved creating and optimizing engaging visual content for Shark Week on streaming platforms, enhancing the viewing experience for this highly anticipated event.
Warner Bros. Discovery | Limited Commercial Interruptions
Limited commercial interruptions, or LCIs, allow a program to have fewer or shorter commercial breaks than typical TV broadcasts, creating a more immersive viewing experience. At Warner Bros. Discovery, Erin collaborated with the internal sales teams and participating brands sponsoring the LCIs (including Google, Valspar, California, Aruba, Chili’s) to design and implement brand logo overlays on the show art for networks HGTV, Discovery Channel and Food Network.
